Chris McKay and Chris Williams of McTear Williams & Wood were appointed Joint Liquidators of CMR Fuel Cells plc at a meeting of its shareholders on 23 December 2009.

The directors’ powers have ceased and the company’s affairs are now the Joint Liquidators’ responsibility. The company is solvent and broadly speaking the Joint Liquidators will realise the company’s assets, settle its pre liquidation liabilities and distribute the remaining surplus funds after costs to the shareholders.

As part of this process CMR Fuel Cells (UK) Ltd has been sold and is still operating.

Shareholders should send their original share certificates to McTear Williams & Wood as soon as possible. Creditors should send written details of their claim to McTear Williams & Wood by 7 February 2010.

The Board of CMR Fuel Cells plc confirms that as set out in the Expected Timetable of Principal Events contained in the Circular published on 14 January 2009, and following the approval of Shareholders at the General Meeting of the Company which was held on 6 February 2009, the cancellation of admission of the Company's shares to trading on AIM will become effective at 7 a.m. on 3 April 2009.
